Vote!

Ok readers, it is your chance to vote.

I was recently approached by a company to do product reviews for them. Hmmmm, am I selling out? It is tempting as I'd get free stuff. I do love free things, but we hardly need free things. We have plenty of things. The world doesn't need more things. It sort of goes against my inner desire to be simplistic. Yet, some of the stuff would be cool. Like, I could actually get some cool things for my kids' play fort. I could get a new fry pan, and if you saw my current one, you'd never eat another egg at my place.

Oh, what to do. I really write for you, so what do you think? It would be another blog post in the mix of what I already write about. I would be honest. If I didn't think it was worth your money, I wouldn't say it was great.

But, it is no loss if I don't do it. Life is pretty good as is.

I vote yes. I'm always interested in honest advice/opinions/feedback on things I'm considering before I actually buy them.

Sounds like fun... if it's legit. You could review things, and do bloggy give-aways to give away things you don't need, or donate them to a local charity. :)

Well, I do trust you to be honest and so that makes it appealing to hear what you think. Although, I tend to shy away from things like that. For similar reasons to what you mentioned. I don't think you can go wrong, it comes down to what your desires are. Do you want to do this? Do you feel it would be fun/beneficial? I was super tempted by one offer I had a long while ago. I forget the toy now, but it looked super cool. But, in the end, I decided not to. I don't need more stuff and I feel weird, personally, doing reviews for products like that. That said, I could change my mind someday.

Oh this is good! Keep the thoughts coming. I'm leaning toward trying one because I do enjoy reviewing items, as long as I can be honest. However, I hate having lots of stuff around etc. So maybe I'll just try one and see. I really want to keep this blog about writing etc.

I am leaning toward yes on product reviews on my blog as well, as long as it was only occasional and as long as I had liberty to be completely truthful about my experience.

So I e-mailed the guy at the company and he hasn't responded, so my choice might have been made for me since I was too slow.
