Oh, I love this! I have to say the darker yolk is free range. That has been my experience, anyway. Oh, I just read that is what others say too. Well, if I am wrong I am in good company! ;-D
im guessing the smaller one because hormones produce bigger chickens and thus bigger eggs. Ha! And because of the darker yolk. I buy organic free range eggs and they have smaller and darker yolks.
All my girls lay just a little bit different color yolk. I want to say the one on the right, but the left looks like the white is denser (which would mean fresher)Hard to tell when they are in the same bowl together.

Which is which and why.
I'm guessing that the one on the right is free range because of the darker yolk color.
I vote right = free range. Darker yolk.

Any other guesses?
When are you going to reveal which is which?
The winner is....the darker one. They are so delicious and yummy as just plain, boiled!
