That is what I have going on in the kitchen. But that is the newer part of our house and the windows are nice etc. However, the back part of our house is from the 50's and the windows probably need to be replaced, so a little window treatment makes them look a bit more complete.

I moved around some curtains recently. I put up some green ones in my youngest bedroom, which I love. Then I took the curtain that was in there and put it out in my outer bath area. Not totally my taste, but that window needed something as it was an old one. Maybe I'll post that one and see if you have any better suggestions. The thing is that the curtain now in that window came with the house, so free is such a nice thing right now.Rebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17012298655256803057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1285843419841798976.post-9056303262778941862009-08-27T09:46:59.947-07:002009-08-27T09:46:59.947-07:00VERY clever! I like lots of streaming light coming through and anything blocking it annoys me (in my own house, mind you).

Despite this, I vote clever and whimsical. BUT...huge bonus points for being clever and creative. :o) I probably would have used pillowcases or sheets to get desired whimsical result while still being thrifty at the same time. :o)

however...husband behind me says pillows and sheets do not match the bathroom theme. he also says to complete the decor you should have used towel racks for curtain rods. Did i mention he is an engineer?? and his house was a total man pad when i met him?Angelinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12939180442398293530noreply@blogger.com
